creation guidelines

01. Staff reserve the right to decline a form and if necessary will contact you via PM to discuss it. Forms may be declined for several reasons including vague description, inproper naming or the creation of high rank characters without the approval of staff.

02. You may not use your own templates for character creation. Please use the one provided.

03. Character biography threads should always be posted by your OORP account. Once your form is accepted, you may create a corresponding ic account, the username being your character's warrior name. For example Erminepaw's username would be ermineleap, etc.

04. Post your thread in the pending board and always title it charactername of clanname. If your form is incomplete, add a (w.i.p) to the thread's title. If you finish your form, bump the thread and wait for staff's approval. Staff will move accepted forms to their appropriate subboards.

05. Realistic faceclaims should be used for your character's images (biography, mini profile, hover.) However we do allow signatures though the size should not exceed 600 x 400. Signatures may include drawings as long as they are yours or you have permission to use them (always remember leave credit.) If your signature exceeds the maximum sizes, staff will PM you and remove it. We will not be resizing signatures for you.

06. We do have character limits on Astral. You can create 5 characters upon joining and up to 10 if you manage to remain active with the rest. If staff find that your characters are being neglected, we may ask you to retire or kill them off.

07. Highranks are auditioned for in a separate thread. If you are interested please wait for the auditions thread to be posted.

08. Unrealistic components of a character, [this includes idealistic appearances, names and abilities of a said character] are not permitted. we would like to stick to the traditional way of character creation, using realistic appearances and naming measures for our characters instead of straying to fantasyland. by all means we do not restrict creativity, we want it to be demonstrated in a different method [character personality-wise, etc] on the topic of the traditional naming system, the use of noncanon prefixes and suffixes are authorized as long as a domestic feline would know what it is. [ex. celosia, bluebell, jackal, etc] sacred prefixes are forbidden to be used [ex. veldt, lucine, basalt, sepia, light]

09. Your character must be a domesticated feline. Though a warrior cat is typically considered a moggy, different breeds are permitted on Astral as long as your character has kittypet ancestors.

010. A bans and encouragements thread will be posted, featuring character creation restrictions to ensure that clans are not overpopulated with particular ranks or genders.

011. Lgbtq+ characters are permitted as long as they are portrayed in a manner that is respectful towards the community.
